    Clara Douglas joined EURO-Argo in October 2025 as BGC Science Officer. Before this, Clara completed a PhD at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton. Their research investigated the drivers of primary production and biological carbon export in the Southern Ocean, mainly focusing on the Weddell Gyre. This work utilised data from satellites and BGC-Argo floats. In EURO-Argo ERIC, Clara provides BGC expertise across a range of EURO-Argo activities and projects. In TRICUSO, Clara will be advising on and implementing the One Argo mission within WP3&5.
