Edouard Leymarie has been a research engineer at LOV since 2003. He specialises in optical instrumentation, leading the development of in-situ instruments like the radiance camera and a patented scatterometer, as well as SimulO software for optical simulations. After designing the ProVal Argo profiler, he now oversees technological advancements of BGC-Argo profilers in projects like ERC-REFINE and GEORGE (WP3). At the national level, he is a member of the Argo France steering committee. Internationally, he contributes to the BGC-Argo mission team and co-leads its Technical Task Team focused on sensor evaluation. For TRICUSO, he will coordinate the integration of the LOC sensor on the Provor Argo float as well as the development, in collaboration with NKE, of the Passive Acoustic Wind sensor on the float.
