Jacqueline is a marine carbon biogeochemist who combines earth system science with machine learning to investigate the ocean carbon sink. Jacqueline received her PhD from the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology in Hamburg, Germany in 2025, for her investigation of the impact of pCO2 observations from sailboats on air-sea CO2 flux estimates.
For TRICUSO, Jacqueline is involved in Task 3.2: Observing System Simulations Experiments (OSSEs) for underway pCO2 systems on sailing yachts, cruise vessels and autonomous observing platforms and Task 5.1: The added value of the TRICUSO measurements.
